Gnome.ly: A reality-based communications platform - create and discover messages, photos/videos, 3Dscans and widgets on objects in the real world.
gnome.ly is at its core a reality communication system that lets you do the usual things you'd do with computing - but, in the real world. From being able to place tweets on real world objects to leaving video messages on tables and walls, Gnome.ly is about deeply connecting people with the world around them.
- @yosun has a knack for making (software) hacks that innovate on both existing and emerging technologies - has had experience with depth-capable vision devices since her Kinect hacker days in 2010, has won tons of hackathons and contests - 3 times first place winner in Intel Perceptual Computing and RealSense contests and also was a finalist in the Project Tango contest. She runs her own skunkworks contracting company dubbed "Prototype48" where she specializes in building cool stuff - for a killing.
- Hypothetical Celebrity CEO person evangelizes the app through sheer popularity and related influence.
I created a framework that I informally call RealityScript that lets me rapidly create 3D AR VR apps super quickly. This came from 20 years as a professional software developer, where it has always been about making stuff based on skill and tool choice - from Flash and full stack LAMP in the 90s/early 00s to iOS/Android 2009ff and various vision and device SDKs
